Mr Rick Wellesley OBE, joined Prism Defence in November 2017 as Business Development Manager. Rick is responsible for the business development of the range of Prism Defence products and services. Prior to joining Prism Defence, Rick was with Leonardo Helicopters for 10 years, looking at defence policy with a focus on Rotary Unmanned Air Systems. He served in the Royal Navy as a Warfare Officer, specialising in aviation as an ASW Observer and spent 7 years in the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence in the capability management and strategic policy areas. He commanded twice at sea, latterly HMS ARGYLL, a T23 frigate.
Rick is looking forward to using experience with the Royal Navy and a global defence prime to contribute to the ongoing development of the innovative and growth focussed Australian SME, Prism Defence.
