On June 14, Senior Engineer and General Manager of Prism Defence, Dr James Forrest finalised a Service Agreement with Engineers Australia to support the ongoing development of our Engineering team.

“At Prism Defence we’re committed to providing our engineers with exceptional development opportunities and supporting them as they work towards chartered status,” Dr Forrest said

“I’m hoping to see our first round of engineers become chartered over the next 12 months and partnering with Engineers Australia is a really important step in facilitating that.”

Dr Forrest believes chartership demonstrates that an engineer has shown commitment to the profession, displays strong values, and a possesses a well-rounded skillset.

“These are all traits that we look to instil into our young engineers and we certainly look for them when bringing engineers into our business,” he said.

“As a flight test organisation we heavily rely on the technical expertise of our engineers and I’m always keen to shine a spotlight on their achievements. As we continue to grow the business, well-qualified engineers will always be an important part of that equation. I look forward to a fruitful ongoing relationship with Engineers Australia.”
