In February 2018, Business Development Manager, Mr Rick Wellesley and Senior Project Officer, Mr Reg Smyth represented Prism Defence at the Singapore Airshow. The Airshow, held at Changi Exhibition Centre is the third largest in the world and Asia’s largest aerospace and defence event. Prism Defence was one of 37 Australian companies exhibiting as part of the Team Defence Australia (TDA) delegation.
In a Defence Connect article about the Airshow, Minister for Defence Industry, Christopher Pyne said, “The high level of interest shown in Team Defence Australia events is another strong demonstration of Australian defence companies’ commitment to export.”
Prism Defence Business Development Manager, Mr Rick Wellesley said there is great benefit in Prism attending the show and acknowledged the value in attending as a part of the TDA delegation. “An Airshow of this scale allows Prism to showcase our existing global reach and forward-thinking expertise in order to continue to create positive export opportunities for Prism Defence and Australia that are aligned and coherent with the strategic goals of the Defence Export Strategy,” Mr Wellesley said.
RAAF Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Leo Davies, AO, CSC, welcomed TDA delegates by also acknowledging their support for the defence industry and the importance of export.
